Mark, Try this link. It is supposed to have port information: http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/toolbox/faq.htm Doug Edwards - Fidelity IFS Douglas.Edwards@xxxxxxx Phone (407) 875-1818 ext. 141 Fax (407) 875-1181 -----Original Message----- From: Mark Phippard [mailto:MarkP@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, June 09, 2003 4:41 PM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSC 5.0 TCP/IP Port Usage We are trying to configure our VPN to allow WDSC to work. The way we use our VPN, we have to explictly open every port that we want to use. Is there a list documented anywhere of what ports WDSC uses to connect to the iSeries? We have opened the DDM/JDBC ports as well as all of the ones used by the Java Toolbox and the Host Servers, but it appears that there are still others that are used, perhaps for RSE. I found a troubleshotting document in the help that says you will need to allow traffic on all of the ports, but of course it doesn't bother to tell you what those ports are. Thanks Mark _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
