I was trying to draw the distinction between the 'normal' 5250 world where page-at-a-time subfiles are common and the GUI world where they are uncommon. Take opening a source member in SEU vs Notepad as an example. In SEU, we don't know or care how many source lines there are. There's no indication anywhere whether we're working on a source member that has one page or fifty. In Notepad, the scrollbar is very fat if there is only one page, and very thin if there are fifty. --buck
