Buck, That's part of the story, but IBM seems to have problems in retrieving lists in general (just take a look at Operations Navigator, even when the list is small). I've written numereous times sockets servers which retrieve similar (and even the same) information as IBM, but just outperform IBM in a way that they should be a shamed of. I don't know what is causing it, but I guess it's time for a code review (and since RSE is using just the same servers as Ooops. Nav., this would confirm everything).
