Vern,

It looks like 5.0 does not provide much more C/C++ support than 4.0 did. 
The documentation includes the Language Reference, Programmers Guide and 
Compiler Reference, but not the Run-time library reference.  The docs that 
are shipped, are now linked with the F1 key however.

Also, there does not appear to be much support in the editor other than 
color coding.
