Hi Jim

MSP71 is populated by the values entered when you start an MRP run either
manually (MR002) or via Auto run parameters (for MM submission in Aurora).

These values are also output at start of run to the MR003PT report.

Start Date = run date - overdue days as entered on the screen
Time Fence date = run date + time fence days as entered on the screen
End Date = date as entered ( or run date + entered days for Auto Run)

Not sure about Forecast time fence as we don't use it.

Subject
[SYSTEM21] MRP Time Fence.

On the MRP Inquiry summary screen (MR050), there are 4 dates displayed at
the top of the screen;

Start 5/11/07 Time Fence 6/26/09 F/C Time Fence 1/16/08 End
6/26/09

I am interested in knowing what creates the value for the "Time Fence" and
"End" dates. These fields appear to be taken from file MSP71, fields
PSTF71 and PSED71 respectively. I also note that there is a value in
field
LTIW71 (Purchasing lead time) of 420, does this get used in calculating
the
time fence and end date and if so, where is that value coming from ?

TIA,

Jim.
