Another thing to do once the subsystem is ended, is to take a look at the INP99 file and if a record exists for TPU10CLP, then this indicates that the subsystem was ended illegally and you need to delete this record from INP99 and try again. Also once you have started the subsystem manually via 10/TPU, I would then do WRKSBS and check that all the background jobs listed below are running : TP_AMDRQ TP_CONTROL TP_CRTRQ TP_PKSORQ TP_SOPKRQ Hope this helps.... Sam Smith Business Analyst Centura Foods -----Original Message----- From: ALlanes@dawnfoods.com [mailto:ALlanes@dawnfoods.com] Sent: 20 June 2002 13:31 To: jbausers-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: SYS21 - Transportation Planning Background jobs This message has been successfully virus checked by the Centura Foods Mail system. Be sure to start the TP subsystem manually - 10/TPU submits the jobs only. Also, I seem to remember that it is possible for some corruption to affect the TP data queues (TPQ00x series). When we had this problem, I ended up deleting the Qs and recreating them. Obviously, we lost whatever transactions were in the old Qs, but, for the particular business unit, that was not an issue. Best of luck! _______________________________________________ This is the GEAC/JBA System 21 Users (JBAUSERS-L) mailing list To post a message email: JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/jbausers-l or email: JBAUSERS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/jbausers-l. ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
