Ram, If the rebuild didnt work, throwing out your trial balance, it may be because of unprocessed GL Transactions. Try 26/GLU Unprocessed transaction reports. I bet there are one or more transactions that total to your difference in your trial balance. If so, let me know (this gives me time to ponder a solution) Did these show on the rebuild error report? What was on the rebuild error report. I would notmally recommend against a rebuild especially if you use extension codes. How long did the rebuild take? FLP004 is the GL Period Balances File (logical PERBAL) Regards Michael Original message from: Ram Hari <RamHari@wasserstrom.com> > > >I attempted a GL Rebuild over the weekend and the period balances I had >problems with got fixed but now I have a new problem.... >Just a select Balance Sheet account's cumulative balance is not right and my >trial balance is showing up error. >Just to let you know we do have a copy of the old trial balance we ran >before the rebuild and one now >Please let me know how to get my trial balance report intact. >We are in V351 >Thanks > > >Ram S.
