This issue should be on the top of everyones list atleast once a year when you do your Disaster Recovery Testing and move to a cold/hot AS400. Disaster Recovery Planning should consider all aspect of your business including manual preocedures while you get your machines up and running from the last restore. GEAC must be able to supply codes for the DRP machine! I had a situation several years ago where we had a head crash every August (it stopped when we planned out leave around it, then we implemented mirroring) and we were forced to recover EVERYTHING. After that, and out annual DRP Test we had the recovery down to 18hrs rather than 36. You plan (which MUST be tested) should include getting codes and making sure everything is 110% operational when needed.
