Running the Error Report with the Print After option will actually clear this file : APG99PHY *FILE PF-DTA Error Log File Which is a good thing too... Again the clear after only works if no users are logged in at the time... Perhaps the Common Functions Day End routine is where this gets cleared...!!!??? If you're not currently running this job every night you may want to consider adding it to your night job - it must run when nobody is signed onto JBA just like the AMDAYEND routine... CALL PGM(IPGCFP4/ICF706CL) This is one of the canned options in the Day End side of Machine Manager ( F10=Standard jobs ) when adding a new sequenced job to the night job... (CF Common Functions Day End)... We only have 166 records total in ours...!!! And they are all dated today... We run the CFDAYEND routine every night... If the CFDAYEND routine doesn't fix the problem then I suggest you SQL out all records dated prior to today and/or if you can issue a CLRPFM to the file during your night run if you have a time set aside where no users are on the system... This will clear the file and eliminate the need to reorg the file... Let us know... I tried running CLNUSRALC, but it had no effect. Actually, it ran in about 2 seconds flat! I also tried running the error report, with option to clear the file after printing, but again no change! Just wondered if you have any other ideas. Anyone ever tried SQL on this file? Thanks again, Neil. _____________________________________________________________________ This transmission and any attachments are confidential and are intended solely for the named addressee (s).
