Try again ... wrong subject entered .... Can anyone advise me of the best way to test a program I have written to load files SLPI0, SLPI1, FLPI0, FLPI1, & FLPI2. We will be using the standard intercace calls for these files to update the Sales Ledger and the General Ledger. My initial thoughts were to create a duplicate Company and do the test runs to this new company, but III have been told that it is not really possible to create a complete duplicate of an existing company. Other thoughts center around a trial run and then restoring from back-up, but this seems to be a bit excessive and would result in significant down-time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
