Be careful if you choose to delete the Item/Supplier Profile.  We've had
problems with PO returns when the Item/Supplier record has been deleted.
We are on SP2.

Yes, deleting the Item/Supplier Profile would at least force the user to
get the warning message in PO Entry (or in Requisitions Confirmation) and
have to consciously re-create the item/supplier record. Also, remember to
blank the Promary Supplier on the Stockroom Details.
