 We too were concerned when the announcement was made so we pulled out our
contact with JBA.  It stated clearly our right to source code in a couple of
places.  We discussed this with our account rep. and project manager and
within a week had a resolution from GEAC that stated yes we were entitled to
source code.
My suggestion to you is to do a similar activity, first check your contracts
and then address it with Geac.
