  • Subject: Manufacturing - MPS/MRP confirmed schedules
  • From: "Michele Mitchell" <mmitchell@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our issue is; We would like to firm up schedules for some of our
sub-assembly items (MRP).

I am probably overlooking something (hopefully very subtle) between the MPS
run parameters, the MRP run parameters and or the Company profile but it
seems that if we flag to "include confirmed schedule" for both MPS and MRP,
we get double requirements at the component item level, i.e. the MPS item
while viewing through the MRP review is doubled and the resulting lower
levels of the bill reflect that doubled quantity as demand.

We are currently - Version 3.5.2B - testing - service pack 3.

Thank you for any and all suggestions/observations.
