Dave,

Thanks for your advice. I verified then rebuilt Log Items for that supplier
and it managed to reconcile the difference.

I didn't realise that the facility was there as I'm quite new to the JBA
game!

Thanks again,

Jenny

Jenny,
You need to run an AP rebuild to clear this out.

1. Check that PLP20 has no missing event numbers, posting period fields or
status flags not equal to one.
2. Find the earliest period for which transactions have been posted to the
account.
3. Run a rebuild for that single account.

If this doesn't work then this company has logging PLP20 transaction records
and no corresponding PLP15 item record. Its worth reconciling the PLP20's
back to the 15's. I have all the queries to take care of reconciliation
issues.

Its difficult to say why this has happened. There was a historic problem
with log to ledger transfers. It could be caused by 3 Way Match. The
reconciliation of the files would identify the transactions in error. These
should have a period and session to pinpoint what the cause was.

Dear All,

I have a problem where PLP06 is showing an outstanding log balance against a
supplier. However when I query PLP15 using criteria LOGI15 EQ 'L' and
RSTS15 NE 'D' (which should show log items outstanding) there are no records
for that supplier.

Has anyone had this problem before? Do you know why it happens and how it
can be rectified without fiddling the data?

Thanks,

Jenny Mauger
