Colin VanCamp@ACADIA POLYMERS 06/12/2000 12:59 PM Colin VanCamp, Manager Corporate I.T., Acadia Elastomers Corporation Acadia Elastomers Corporation is a manufacturer of Automotive and Industrial sealing systems. We have System 21 (3.5.2b) installed in six of our manufacturing plants and our corporate office. We have several custom modifications and a lot of custom reports, I am sure this is normal since the reports in System 21 are useless. In addition to System 21, we use AutoRelease from Future 3 at our four Automotive plants to facilitate customer EDI requirements. As for source code I guess we are one of the lucky ones since we put a clause in our contract ensuring its availability. Our Account Manager tells me we will not be given source on any future purchases of GEAC/JBA software. My response to him was Acadia will not purchase additional software from GEAC/JBA until they change their position. A similar stance from everyone else may help right the ship.
