As someone has graciously pointed out to me, it would appear that I have
a severe lead foot.  I *do* have a lead foot, however it's *nowhere* in
the vicinity of 500 miles per hour.  ;-)  [Sometimes I wish, though!]

It seems that we're still in the comm "dark ages" here, unable to get
into our network from the outside *reliably*.  We have a somewhat kludgy
solution, but our firewall kicks me off if I attempt log on from home
more than two 2 or 3 hours after I last touched the internet from work.
(We are using www.gotomypc.com on an interim basis.)  I understand we're
working on a VPN solution, but the status of that is on a "need to know
basis" and, apparently, I don't need to know.
