I tend to agree with Booth, but I'm not familiar with all the circumstances. It has happened in my current shop that multiple options sometimes warrant the need for excessive functions beyond the 24 limit. And the screen is quite busy.

Many times the "OP" don't know/understand the limitations and restrictions of a Green Screen, having worked so much in the Microsoft/Mac worlds. When faced with the challenge of trying to assist with a solution, they can sometimes adjust to a compromise.

What options besides a Green Screen environment are available (if any)? Any chance of conversion to a web-interface?

Is it possible that a secondary look-alike screen could be developed that has the capability of all new options for the same F-keys which would be toggled to-and-fro based on the F-24? Maybe not the best solution, but workable.
