Assuming the stream file exists on the native file system, and you want the shortcut to also exist on the native file system, check out the ADDLNK command. A symbolic link can be thought of as a shortcut (sort of).

Subject: Creating a Windows Shortcut

With Scott Klement's software, I've been able to create windows files in the IFS without issue. Has anyone created windows shortcuts using his software?

My goal is to create a document in one directory location, and then create a shortcut in another directory location. Obviously I don't want to simply duplicate the file to the new location, but rather want a shortcut that points to the original.

TIA!
