Why can't you use Service Programs Dieter? All my OA handlers are re-entrant (unless I code them not to be) and I can't see why it would be any different having them bound.

Two programms in the same ACTGRP share one activation of a SRVPGM,
regardless if you let it run in *CALLER or in a named ACTGRP, but they might
have two open data pathes to the same file. Binding modules by copy, they
would have two actiavtions of the same module.
