Yeah that's the biggest problem -- making sure they both use the EXACT SAME
prototype.

That's true of a module that is calling a procedure in another module.

But a prototype isn't required within the module that is exporting the
procedure.


Yes, because in that case the procedure is internal -- even if it
is being exported. But, shouldn't the compiler be able to use the PI of
such an internal procedure to validate the call to it from within the
module? At least, that's how I thought it worked.
