Booth,
If you do pick this up?,

I had thought about:
1. Adding a query to the subfile to select records.

This is in LSTFFD with or without selections. it uses WRKQRY but
could easily be made to use SQL so you don't need WebQuery.

2. Display DBR's and keys for the file.

LSTFFD does this too.

3. Make it so you can select a subset of the
fields for any of the columns shown: length, type, decimals, text,
keys,
etc.

Good idea. Sorting them by type, size, etc.

LSTFFD does have the ability to search for field names or field
descriptions (by customer request years ago).

It also will display triggers.

There is a browse source option that I implemented years ago using
another utility but that doesn't work and the original command is hard
to find. BRWOBJSRC if anybody has a copy it would be nice to throw in
an open source repository.

4. A nice print routine for it.

LSTFFD has this as well. Prints nicely on 8.5x11 paper. Converts
nicely to PDF.

Just a thought(s)...

Bill

OK. I feel stupid. No doubt no one has asked because they already know.

But how does one access the SYSCOLUMNS catalog view"?
