Nope. DBU, WRKDBF,FEU are utilities that allow change.
I don't want change, just display and I want it
open source, and above all, free.
We use WRKDBF but it's not meant for what
I'm suggesting. On the fly inquiry and reference
as well as documentation only.

PM:
I've always wanted a single source SFL display utility for a file
that could show file name, library, format name, number of
fields, record format ID, record length, file type, access path
(keyed, arrival), field names, from/to length, decimal, type, text,
related data bases(LF, indexes, etc), and a position to field when
subfile is displayed showing all the fields.

You mean like DBU?

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
