I'm well aware of this and I don't condone it. However, if there's any saving grace, the OPM invocation is -always- as a batch job. I realize that if it blows up, there is probably some loose ends left laying around.
But, even if OPM (CL) is rewritten as ILE, it in turn is -called- by an OPM (CL) which at present cannot be re-written.
I'll check the scoping on the OPNQRYF statement.
