I've never stated could not be done in another way as I'm doing something and I won't do so, never! Just wondering - and it's my impression that you are not the only one without deeper knowledge of Java - how one could make comparisons from Java to RPG without this.
I have > 20 years experience with RPG and > 10 years experience with Java, working in projects, writing articles, holding presentations, doing training courses. Have a look to the world outside of the RPG community, just to be sure not to overlook important things happening there.
