The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

does this new keyword suppress errors that occur for invalid date ranges
when using different date formats?
It might. If you assign one *YMD date to another, the 8 bytes are just
copied directly without any checking at all.
If you are getting any kind of exceptions at all for your
date/time/timestamp fields in a particular application, you should not
use this keyword.
