All that I am requesting is for people to use the correct terminology...

Regardless of how ugly the converted code may be (RPGII or whatever), from a
system standpoint if you use the CRTBNDRPG command to compile it, it is now
an RPGIV ILE program, no longer an Original Program Model program, and you
cannot debug it with STRISDB any more - it requires STRDBG now.

And if you're running programs through CVTRPGSRC and converting the OPM code
to fixed-form RPGIV, I would ask why you're not cleaning them up in the
process. I do.

I can take an RPGIII program and run it through the IBM converter to make
it (mostly) RPGIV syntax. IT will have an RPGLE type. But I would not call
that an ILE program.
