AW: Something Wrong with the following Code ?

Even though I'm German, I don't see any problems if someone uses German
words.
I also found in American English a lot of German words are allowed, known
and used which would have been marked as mistake in our English lessons at
school. (We learned British English)

In German on the other hand as Mihael pointed out it is "modern" to use
English words or to mix English and German.
Even worse if it only sounds English but is not English at all.
"Info Point" sounds better than "Informationsschalter". Or do you know what
a "handy" is? Sounds English, but you'll name it either "cell" or "mobile"
phone.

Thanks, Vern - I think. You're no <idiom alert> spring chicken yourself
</end alert>. One may be childish, though, without being of the
chronological age.

I did hesitate using "verboten" though not because I thought it was
childish. Rather because I'm aware that we have a large German contingent
on the list, and I did not want to be called for using the wrong word,
spelling, usage, or other grammatical errors (I started to say " faux pas"
but that would just bring the French contingent in on the Germans' side - a
surreal image if ever there was one). My German is very limited; I only
read German (never spoke it) when I was majoring in German History >40 years
ago. And I nearly always had to refer to my German-English dictionary.
