Actually, I have to admit that I've worked with a number of Germans in
Frankfurt and their English was a lot better than most native speakers.

Personally I don't have a problem mixing words from different languages, but
what I do hate with a passion is "text speak". It's tolerable in SMS
messages (well it is if you don't get unlimited messages as part of your
bundle or bolt-on), but there's no excuse for using it in emails and the
like.
