Oh, the CMS definitely can handle it. It's a matter of waiting for my
Operations staff to actually do the move. Sometimes you just can't wait
on them. In the end, it doesn't hurt anything to have them there.

to production quickly...

correct binding directories and modules are compile-time objects and are
not needed on your production system. generally for CM packages i set
the process to only distribute the service program or programlist
