Hi Duane,

When you call a Java method from RPG, you always have to pass the Java object (the one containing the method you want to call) as the first parameter.

That object is never coded on the prototype. But it's required on the call.

The only exceptions to this are *CONSTRUCTOR methods and STATIC methods. All other methods (i.e. the normal methods) always require the object to be passed in the first parameter.

Since you are missing this parameter, you're going to get a parameter mismatch.

Anyone have an idea as to what the problem is?

The parameter types match, the order in the call and prototype match, I have changed the "pass by" const to reference and back.

I'm beginning to think it is a compiler issue but I want to make sure I am not doing something obviously stupid before I open a PMR.

Thanks
Duane Christen
