This may not meet your scenario exactly, but if you just need to execute
SQL with results return via a browser this may do the trick? We have
been working on a web based utility that will run SQL on any System i
without 5722ST1 and do a bunch of helpful actions on the data results.
This is pre-alpha and the RPG API is not in yet. You can run it at:

We are looking into dynamic remote web based calls to and from RPG to
allow RPG results to be returned to the browser without 5722ST1 but we
have some problems with this.
