So it's an RPG program, right? Cause if it was RPGLE, it would use CRTSQLRPGI.

That message says you have invalid characters in positions 7 and 8.
Since the C must be in position 6 the compiler must be complaining about the /E or the + . Since those are valid characters in those positions for SQLRPG are you running the correct compiler?
