I'm getting the compile error QRG5175 that states positions 7 and 8 are incorrect for a subroutine specification. In SEU, no error is highlighted whilst editing. Maybe the compiler is missing something. We don't have any SQLRPG programs but no problems with SQLRPGLE.

That message says you have invalid characters in positions 7 and 8. Since the C must be in position 6 the compiler must be complaining about the /E or the + . Since those are valid characters in those positions for SQLRPG are you running the correct compiler?
