Alas, the OP has an unrealistic deadline to produce an LOC count, and the chances that he'll be able to employ a decent code-counting tool are slim. On the bright side, the compiler knows how many LOC are present. On the sad side, the compiler doesn't emit that information in a machine readable way. My Christmas wish is to have the compiler emit the entire cross reference listing in machine readable form :-)

Lines of code is a useful estimation tool but a useless productivity measurement.
