Except in this case it appears to be more of a step toward "fixing" the pre-compiler at a "hole" that should not have been there. The reason being that the old way would seem way counter-intuitive to expectations with the way subprocedures are checked. And, in this way they also conform to that particular demand from us developers.. Anyway, technically, this has to do with the pre-compiler and not the compiler right? And it still does not "bust" the "(not a) myth", IMHO. You can still upgrade, use the old stuff. This might bust a myth of "perfect", but try "measuring the virtue" in this case by counting similar instances. --Alan
