This is happening in V5R3 too. something about the SQL compiler doesn't recognize the difference between the subprocedure's local variables and the main procedure's global variables. I believe... I have an SQL RPGLE program that in the past (V5R2) used host variables that were defined subprocedure parms as part of a Select Into clause. The client recently upgraded to V5R4, and now I get a message that the host variable is not unique. Nothing has changed in that section of the code since I compiled it last.
