   5. RE: Print left of margin (Kirk Barker)

OK - Using a *WSCST (workstation customization object) does allow me to move the print over to the far left of the page when changing the source of the *WSCST. Great!!!! However I have to stop the writer and restart it and it also move other prints from the 400 over to the left as well. Does anyone
know if there is a way to attach this change only to a spooled file or
something like that???

Kirk:

If a *WSCST is associated with a printer device description, it seems that all you'd need to do would be create another device description. A *DEVD isn't very big and should hardly be noticed as far as disk utilization goes. Then, use that *DEVD only when creating your chosen spooled file.

Keep the concepts of "printer", "device description", "output queue", "spooled file", etc., separate in mind.
