Hi Eduard - I do tons of this, primarily for credit applications and contracts. I have a process where the iSeries program does a remote execution call to a thin client, invoking a cmd file. The cmd file does some stuff and calls an executable that actually does the signature capture. I then transfer the signatures to the IFS on the iSeries. The file name of the signature on the iSeries has a transaction identifier that links it with the appropriate data on our iSeries system. I'd be happy to provide more information - what would you like to know? Regards... - Michael On 11/22/06, Eduard Sluis <eduard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Dear all, We have a client that would like to connect a signature to an activity on the iSeries. The Signature will be done on an for example: http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/reviews.aspx?EDC=715681 The problem I perceive is not the signature it self or the ability to represent it but how to capture the where about of the signature and store that with the activity in an automated way . Does someone had this type of requirement and what could be a workable way of doing this?
