Connecting Customer Signature to iSeries activity.

Dear all,
 
We have a client that would like to connect a signature to an activity on the 
iSeries.
The Signature will be done on an for example:
http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/reviews.aspx?EDC=715681
The problem I perceive is not the signature it self or the ability to represent 
it but how to capture the where about of the signature and store that with the 
activity in an automated way .
 
Does someone had this type of requirement and what could be a workable way of 
doing this?
