that seems to be the goal of a lot of people on this platform, IBMers included. 
 I cant fault the sentiment, but it is not very fair to those who did the 
outstanding work to create the system.  

I do challenge the notion that the system can last another 10 years.  How 
quickly did DEC implode once they lost their forward momentum?  To paraphrase 
Woody Allen, a computer system is like a shark. It either moves forward or 
dies.
