How about pressing the Field Exit key to leave the field before hitting enter? You could always make the field ALPHA and move it to a numerical field in the program. But I think you should just make it a happen to press the Field Exit key to move to the next field. Most of the numbers so far only use the first 6 digits, and if the user enters only 6 digits, they get the annoying field stop with the flashing "0020", then have to hit the control key to continue. Is there a way around this? -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
