Is there a CHECK(FE) keyword in the DDS for this field? If so, remove
it. You could also add CHECK(RZ) to make it right adjust.

Subject: Numeric Field Attributes

We have innumerable numeric fields in our RPG system that are defined
for a 7 digit number (leading 0). Most of the numbers so far only use
the first 6 digits, and if the user enters only 6 digits, they get the
annoying field stop with the flashing "0020", then have to hit the
control key to continue.
Is there a way around this?
