How about pressing the Field Exit key to leave the field before hitting
enter?
You could always make the field ALPHA and move it to a numerical field in
the program. But I think you should just make it a happen to press the
Field Exit key to move to the next field.

We have innumerable numeric fields in our RPG system that are defined
for a 7 digit number (leading 0). Most of the numbers so far only use
the first 6 digits, and if the user enters only 6 digits, they get the
annoying field stop with the flashing "0020", then have to hit the
control key to continue.
Is there a way around this?
