Yes, but not in QTEMP. It writes the DDS equivalent of the S&D specs to QS36DDSSRC source file in the same library from which one compiles the S&D spec source. It does some conversions if, for example, one has array elements defined in the S&D. The iSeries actually creates the display file from that converted source. Which has come in handy a few times when I wanted to do something that S&D didn't allow ala formatting options. Gotta be careful, though, if you go that route because re-compiling the S&D specs recreates the DDS.
