You haven't asked a stupid question yet. Maybe a *duh* question, but not a
stupid question.

Is there a local user group near you, with monthly meetings? If so, does
your company support it?

I ask this because in my experience all of the local user groups are very
responsive. They become especially responsive if your company would offer
suggestions and money to bring in good speakers on topics of interest to the
staff and company.

This is a slow learning process, but it is surprising how these once-a-month
sessions accumulate knowledge for you over time.

1) No Budget.
2) No local facilities for RPG/SQL.

Do they have an RPG list for beginners? That way I won't bother
everyone with these "stupid" questions.

Brian.
