Why not?? I wanna be special too LOL <tic><vbg> Question: I haven't looked or tested this... Using the QUSLFLD API (which changed somewhere between v5r1 & v5r3 for implementing identity columns)... What is returned in the list member size?? If the data referenced is NOT an identity column, you have to offset to the next entry in the user space by adding 544(the previous size of the returned data), if the data referenced IS an identity column the offset to the pointer must be incremented by 608. Which is returned? If 608 is returned then are all column data references offset by 608? Or is it variable??? Bad programming, lack of knowledge, maybe...but I'm still relatively new to the API stuff my first attempt at using a true API was Aug. 2004... But I am still learning...
