But I still say mine was a "technicality"  I used a bif...

No, it's not just you who finds them cryptic. I'm only 'hot' on it
because I was one of those metioned by Rob who got caught when I
hardcoded something a while back. In fact, I think it was Scott who put
me on the right track then :-)
 
I now have 'wrapper' procedures around most of the commonly-used API's -
typically with a simpler parameter list (often using defaults and/or
optional parameters) - it makes using the API's much simpler...
