Perhaps you didn't mean it this way, Dave; American English or slang sometimes renders "clever" as a negative connotation. On the assumption that your intention was to say that "Programmers in India are just as smart & effective as programmers anywhere else", I would beg to differ. It is true that India has people who are talented and, indeed, Shijith may well be of extremely high intellect, but let me just ask everyone this: Given my assumption of Shijith's relative inexperience in RPG development, how many American companies would hire him/her at the rate they are paying Satyam? Based on the ads I've seen, you can't even get your foot in the door anymore unless you have at least two years of programming experience. Answer that, and I'll continue the discussion. - Dan
