Shijith could have made the assumption that if the indicators assigned to
the function keys were all off then Enter had been used. But he didn't do
that. He thought there ought to be a way to test for it explicitly, so he
came here and found the answer he was looking for. I can't see anything in
this thread that leads me to believe his programs will be of a poor
quality. I've known plenty of programmers in the West who weren't aware
they could test the AID byte.

I think it's a mistake to think you can rely on superior programming
ability to beat off competition from Indian software houses. Programmers in
India are just as clever as programmers anywhere else.
