Don't forget about the math challenged users who, 6 months from now, want to know how a field is calculated for a different project. "No, that calculation is wrong, it should be this..." even if the result always comes out the same. Unless there is some benefit to algebraically changing the equation, it simply isn't worth the hassle. And I'm not sure why divide by zero wasn't obvious in the first equation. Mike
